Last week when the office was the busiest,
a client ordered a gift for a VIP buyer from the UK.
Of course, along with the urgent request,
so the gift could be ready in only two days.
We did accept the order due to the strong
request, but I had to work around the clock that day.
The monogram necklace is not customary in
Korea, but international customers, especially those from the UK, are quite
familiar with them.
The orders for our hand made monoArtisan
brand are increasing through word of mouth of international customers.
Even in Korea, I think it would be a great
gift for VIP guests, especially international buyers. It is hand made, and the necklace
is developed with the motive of that particular buyer, making it a special and
valuable gift. Handmade and personalized!
The initials of the buyer were B and L.
This is the design beginning with the
letters BL. It’s a Gothic type design. I call this design Antique Monogram.
I place this design on a silver sheet and
saw it using a coping saw. Isn’t it simple?
Although it is simple, over 3,000 sawing
action and devotion are essential.
First, a hole is made on the section the
coping saw begins, followed by the openwork.
Only the above tools are used for
production- sawing board, coping saw, and silver sheet.
The shape is cut out from the silver sheet
using the coping saw. In order to lower costs, some international producers use
the CNC machine to lower costs.
However, monoArtisan firmly and simply believes
that one must own at least one hand made product in the world.

action. Concentration is very important when cutting out the pieces, for when a
mistake is made, the sheet must be discarded. Well, it can be melted, but the
process must begin again.
Once the cutting is complete and polished,
the one and only necklace is born.
Unlike the initial necklaces with the
entire name, monogram necklace consists of letters harmonizing to form a single
design.
It has peculiar charm.
It is a great gift for VIPs.
